With convenient locations in Allentown, New Castle, and Blue Bell, flyGateway has rapidly grown to become the largest regional Part 141 flight academy in our area.

 

At flyGateway, we aim not only to ignite interest beyond traditional and costly four-year college degrees but also to propel students to excel in high-paying careers in both commercial airlines and corporate aviation.

 

Job title: Admissions Specialist 

Reports to: Operations and Admissions Manager 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Provide professional and cheerful service to all customers.  
  • Promote flyGATEWAY’s commitment to exemplary service and quality by the successful execution of the duties assigned.  
  • Engage exclusively with warm leads for sales calls, eliminating the need for cold calling efforts. 
  • Utilize approved recruitment policies/formats; Manage inquiries to achieve prompt and effective contact with prospective students.  
  • Meet monthly enrollment goals for class start dates 
  • Follow up with inquiries made through website, social media, phone and email communication. 
  • Educate prospective students on flight school offerings, expected outcomes, and funding options. 
  • Schedule initial onsite Meet and Greets and Introductory Flights for prospective students 
  • Oversee student applications, verify program enrollment and funding status with admissions 
  • Distribute list to student of security and required documentation needed for enrollment 
  • Follow-up with inquiries that did not progress in the enrollment process. 
  • Follows up with withdrawn students for re-entry. 
  • Act as an ambassador for client success, ensuring students get through their training programs in a timely manner and provide the utmost quality customer service. 
  • Assist and participate in recruitment activities including; open houses, presentations, training sessions, career days, etc. 
  • Create and Maintain partnership and affiliate contacts. 
  • Other functions as assigned. 

 

 

 

Job Requirements:

Qualifications/Competencies 

  • Word, Excel, Outlook and other computer software knowledge required. 
  • Must be tactful, courteous, and conscience of client needs. 
  • Basic mathematical knowledge. 
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Aviation experience is strongly preferred but not required. 
  • Must have excellent organizational and time management skills, along with outstanding verbal and written communication. 
  • Customer Service/Sales experience in a professional environment required. 
  • Social media and marketing experience preferred. 
  • Can work shifts that may include evenings, weekends and holidays. 
  • Associates or Bachelors degree preferred. 

 

 

 

Salary Range: 40,000-50,000
