The Inside Sales team provides a range of support activities to Sales Managers and the external spanet including travel agents, tour operators and corporate accounts. Inside Sales Coordinators are also responsible for providing statistics and management information for the UK sales organization and key partners of Air Canada.
We seek a committed and enthusiastic team player who will be expected to assist in all areas of the sales organization as and when required.Responsibilities:
Prepare sales proposals, maintain and issue corporate contracts, and fares contracts for consolidators, tour operators and corporate accountsSource and provide all relevant information for the filing process in automated systems/channels.Service small corporate accounts and provide feedback to account managersMaintain and service travel agent requests for advance seating, net fare enquiries, upgrade requests, waivers and interpretation of contracts and associated correspondenceMaintain and develop accurate databases, and generate reports and analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Assist in identifying potential leads and new spanet segments for the sales team to targetMonitor and analyze the performance of key account partners to ensure compliance with agreed targets and objectives and provide feedback to sales managersAssist sales managers in the promotion of aircanada.com in the UK, Ireland.Monitor Air Canada and partner programs to ensure visibility of AC products on distribution channelsAssist sales managers in preparing sales proposals, presentations, agency contracts, and with call planning and related sales administrationService IATA agency travel requests in conjunction with top-tier agencies’ benefit programsWork with senior management to provide spaneting communications support and create adverts, editorials, advertorials and newsletters in approved mediaRepresent Air Canada at trade events, agency workshops, promotional days/evenings and familiarization trips. Provide group fare quotations, prepare and send group contracts, provide monthly reports on group sales and advance bookingsService groups booking process including creating bookings, name-lists, advance passenger information, seating, meals, payments, cancellations, and contract interpretation Support the team with any additional activities and projects as required.
QualificationsProven sales and team skillsKnowledge of the UK & Ireland travel industrySuccessful completion of a fares course is desirable
