We are hiring your skills to provide commercial business support and assistance to the Global Sales function to develop Qatar Airways’ B2B products (MICE and Beyond Business) and leverage corporate partnerships to enable revenue growth and revenue protection in line with the commercial strategy. Work with the sales teams, both at a regional as well as a local level, and joint partners in identifying opportunities, growing revenues, building a strong sales pipeline across the network
To manage and execute legal compliance along with the internal & external processes. To perform data analytical tasks to identify and support business activities both driven from management requests and self-generated, in a timely manner. Driving day to day management of the client/supplier sales cycle, coordination with QR Sales Offices and ensuring intelligent implementation of sales tools & technology, in line with sales strategies and objectives.
Other key operational duties would include:
Manage projects involving multiple stakeholders and with all levels of management.
Provide deep analysis and research into business opportunities within a changing global spanetplace in order to make informed commercial decisions and reduce speed to spanet.
Actively support the Key Account Manager in achieving revenue targets and ensure maximization of commercial potential through product enhancements.
Work with the Key Account Manager to manage operations in Galaxy to ensure implementation of agreements, lead management and revenue reporting is seamless.
Act as a liaison between the global sales force and the various HQ departments to ensure expeditious turnaround time for the decision making process relating to sales initiatives. Reply to concerns raised from the station within agreed timelines and SLAs set.
Support the development of strategies to ensure the right structure, standards, processes and tools are in place to develop, grow and maintain B2B products globally so that it contributes significantly to revenue.
Support the Key Account Manager to identify and procure MICE leads through external sources, work with MICE divisions of TMCs and Destination Boards to implement strategies for MICE to be aligned with company commercial goals / business plan for the year.
Support the Key Account Manager in working with the Corporate Sales team to drive MICE through Corporate customers and agreements.
Prepare intelligence reports & analytics for client & internal stakeholder business reviews to provide the commercial organization with visibility and support in making decisions.
Work with internal compliance and Audit teams to address any concerns raised regarding the programs itself, in coordination with the regional sales teams and the Key Account Manager.
Support in drafting and maintaining business line or product specific SOPs and guidelines in order to facilitate further business alignment and compliance.
Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.
