Flying private helicopter tours in Robinson R-44s on the island of Oahu. Pilots should expect to be flying 3-6 hours a day.
Cleaning of the aircraft is done daily, at the beginning and the end of the day.
Mauna Loa Helicopters is seeking a highly-skilled, motivated R-44 pilot to join our fast-growing team.
Pilots must have their:
- FAA Commercial Rotorcraft Certificate, with an instrument rating
- Commercial Flight Instructor Certificate
- Robinson Safety Course
- The passing of an inhouse R-44 instructor sign-off
Qualified candidates are encouraged to submit a cover letter, resume, and three references. Also, a copy of their pilot certificates along with their height and weight.
The candidate must have a negative FAA DOT drug screening.
Training time, travel, and moving expenses are not paid for.
Salary Range: $40/tour
Weekly Hours: 24-36
