Job Description:

We are looking for a full-time Part 91 TBM 960 Pilot to operate our aircraft based in Islip, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, exceptional piloting skills, and a professional demeanor. This role requires flexibility, attention to detail, and a passion for aviation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate the TBM 960 aircraft in accordance with all applicable regulations and company policies.
  • Functional as a mentor and safety pilot for the owner-operator.
  • Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections to ensure the aircraft is in optimal condition.
  • Plan and execute flights, including route planning, fuel management, and weather assessment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date flight logs and records.
  • Ensure passenger safety and comfort throughout all phases of flight.
  • Stay current with all required certifications and training.
Job Requirements:
  • Valid FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Single Engine Land (SEL) rating.
  • Valid FAA Certified Flight Instructor - Instrument Certificate with Single Engine Land (SEL) rating.
  • Instrument Rating.
  • Minimum of 1,500 hours total flight time, with at least 500 hours PIC in a turbine aircraft.
  • Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
  • Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, Part 91 operations, and standard aviation practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
  • High level of professionalism and dedication to safety.
  • Must be willing to relocate or currently reside within commuting distance of Islip, NY.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ATP Certificate.
  • Previous experience in a corporate aviation environment.
  • Familiarity with the TBM 960's avionics and systems.
