As a round the clock operation, the Visitors Center plays a crucial role in representing Delta at all hours and in moments that may occasionally require a calm, steady presence under pressure.As a Visitors Center Ambassador, you will create thoughtful, memorable experiences from the moment someone steps through our doors. You’ll welcome guests with a friendly, polished, and professional demeanor that reflects Delta’s unwavering commitment to safety, service, and hospitality, including during fast paced or stressful situations.HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT (includes, but is not limited to the following responsibilities): Ensure smooth, safe, and secure operations of the G.O. Visitors Center while delivering a polished, professional, and service focused experience consistent with the Delta brand. Serve as a key communicator, providing timely and accurate information to security professionals, business partners, and leadership.Lead by example to deliver distinctive customer service, proactively addressing service failures or guest concerns and escalating to leadership when needed.Model Delta’s vision and values while partnering with leadership and team members to continuously improve Visitor Center processes.Greet and check in future employees, vendors, and visitors using handheld devices or self service kiosks, ensuring a warm and seamless arrival experience.Maintain a visible presence by regularly walking the Visitor Center floor and engaging with guests.Proactively take ownership of service recovery and support a clean, organized, and welcoming environment throughout the day.Demonstrate a servant leadership mindset in every interaction.Effectively manage difficult or disruptive situations in partnership with the Visitor Center Lead, Management, and G.O. What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.Embraces a diverse set of people, thinking and styles.Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.Minimum of 2 years of customer facing experience with strong interpersonal and communication skills.Demonstrated ability to manage conflict, resolve problems, and make quick, sound decisions in fast paced or high stress situations.Shows initiative, professionalism, and the ability to multitask while handling complex situations.Meets performance standards in current role.Proficient in English with basic digital literacy.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications) Thorough knowledge of Delta operational procedures and policies.Previous experience in Security Screening.Previous experience in Airport Customer Service operations, Red Coat and SkyClub strongly preferred.Knowledge of airline or hospitality industry operations strongly preferred.
