About the role:
Qatar Aviation Services Cargo is recruiting for Training Officer to join their team based in Doha, Qatar.
The role will be responsible to deliver training programmes for employee and occasionally for external clients in accordance with an agreed training plan to improve the quality and standards of staff performance. The Training Officer will prepare and develop training module, training documents, exams and survey. Adhere to course syllabus and implement outline material and monitoring training results.
Operational Accountabilities:
Primarily responsible to deliver operational and soft skill training for employee and occasionally for external clients in accordance with an agreed training plan to improve the quality and standards of staff performance.
Support to complete lines training analyses, and finalizing and publishing
Solve specific training problems, compare plans and actuals training, to follow the causes of absenteeism.
Prepare and develop training module, training documents, exams, survey.
Mentoring OJT trainer. To observe and evaluate OJT trainer
Regularly control and evaluate weekly reports, weekly/monthly training plan of job trainer
Monitor annual training hours targets and prepare reasons of the difference between plan and actual as per company requirements.
Production of training plans and schedules in a timely manner.
Refresh and update staff on existing and new company and Authority procedures / policies (when applicable).
Establish the department or teams objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives.
Regularly evaluate the department or teams objectives, plans, procedures and practices, and makes appropriate changes if needed.
Oversee and supervise employees. Direct daily activities, recruit, train, develop and discipline to ensure a high standard of service delivery.
Train and develop other employees, to ensure succession planning is in place.
Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualifications
About you:
- High School Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with minimum 3-years of job-related experience or 4 years job-related experience with High School/Vocational/Diploma qualification.
- Completion of Train the Trainer certification from approved organization or minimum QR Leadership Effectiveness and Potential program (LEAP1 and 2)
- Preferably with Aviation experience.
