Under supervision of the Senior Human Resources Manager, the Sr. Human Resources Generalist is an important member of the Human Resources team. This HR Generalist position&39;s primary focus areas will be employee relations, investigations, employee engagement, training and development as well as specialized HR programs and projects. This position requires a dynamic individual who can balance administrative duties with employee support, ensuring that all processes are compliant and that employee concerns are addressed with professionalism and empathy. The ideal candidate will bring a comprehensive understanding of HR practices and ensure the seamless operation of these critical functions.
Key Responsibilities Employee Relations:
- Serve as a resource for employees and management on employee relations issues, fostering a respectful, positive, engaged, and collaborative workplace.
- Assist with conflict resolution, counseling, and coaching for employees and managers to address concerns and ensure productive working relationships.
Employee Concerns & Investigations
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints and recommend appropriate actions based on findings.
- Ensure all investigations are completely timely and thorough including all pertinent parties and information.
- Provide updates on employee concerns and investigation.
- Review and respond to all Gensuite HR submittals.
Employee Engagement:
- Partner with Sr. HR Manager and employee fun committee for creation and development of employee engagement activities.
- Support the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives to promote workplace satisfaction and retention.
- Frequently interact with all staff including daily plant floor walks.
General HR Support
- Provide general HR support and assistance with other HR programs, policies, and initiatives.
- Enter terminations and transfers and work closely with payroll to ensure all termiantion paperwork has been completed.
- Maintain accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Assist in preparing HR-related reports and audits as needed.
- Collaborates with other member of the HR team as well as other departments.
- Stay current on changes to Federal and California state employment laws and regulations.
Other Duties as Assigned Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in HR, with a strong focus on employee relations, and employee engagement.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred
- PHR, SPRH, SHRM-CP, or similar HR certification (preferred but not required).
- Previous experience conducting thorough, unbiased workplace investigations and determining the appropriate resolutions.
- Extensive knowledge of federal and California state wage and hour laws.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively mediate and resolve employee relations issues.
- Ability to handle sensitive issues with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Consistently demonstrates the highest level of personal ethical conduct and leads by example with strong values, maintaining high level of confidentiality
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and HRIS systems. Previous ADP and Workday experience a plus.
- Bilingual in written and spoken English and Spanish (highly preferred).

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $75,000 to $105,000 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 2X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company&39;s medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
