Gas Mapping LIDAR (GML) Sensor Operator (SO) Nationwide

Nationwide opportunity for a Full-time or Seasonal Sensor Operator flying in Bell and MD helicopters.  This is not a pilot position, but lower time rotor wing pilots are encouraged to apply.

Hawkeye Helicopter is currently looking for the right candidate to fill a position for a sensor operator either full or part time.   Work is a 3 week on/3 week off schedule.

SO’s provide for the care and operation of a GML sensor that is mounted on Hawkeye’s rotor wing aircraft. Job encompasses but is not limited to the following:

· Daily communication with clients to update on progress

· Data capture and downloading information from scans

· Help tech support troubleshoot errors on the sensor

· Assisting Pilot In Command (PIC) with routing

· Act as a second set of eyes to potential hazards along flight rout

Full-time pay starts at $45,000 per year  with health/dental and 401K benefits available.

SO’s are paid $50 per diem for every night away from home and either stay in Company provided crew houses or Company paid hotels.
