We are recruiting for a Rostering Officer to join our growing team! You will be responsible for managing crew rosters from initial construction through to the handover to the ICC Crewing team, ensuring timely publication while considering safety, cost, legal compliance, and industrial rules.

This role involves delivering and maintaining crew roster activities, correcting anomalies before and after roster optimisation, and managing various factors like fatigue metrics, duty distributions, and block hour costs. You will produce and maintain monthly rosters using optimisation software for pilots and cabin crew, adjusting rosters in the live environment before handover. Additionally, you will run regular reports to clear any violations, ensure standby coverage, and re-crew uncovered flights in line with regulations and agreements. The role also involves managing sensitive roster change requests, continuously improving roster quality, and responding to crew concerns.

You will maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements, pass a yearly Flight Time Limitation Qualification, and collaborate with Hotel and Travel Planning teams and Training Planning teams when necessary.

 

What you need to do this role

You will have least 2 years of experience in a planning or operational delivery environment, managing a workforce of over 200 using an operational system. You should be a proactive team player with the confidence to challenge and improve roster quality. A strong customer focus and the ability to handle multiple requests in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Familiarity with AIMS Crew Tracking and Microsoft Excel, along with a detailed understanding of crew protocols and regulations, is required. You should have a keen eye for detail, operational airline experience, and knowledge of FTL and fatigue management regulations.

Location & Hours of Work

 

This is a full-time 40 hour per week position. We support hybrid working and we spend three days per week in the office in Luton.
