Morson Talent are currently recruiting for a Process Optimisation Specialist, to work on the behalf of one of our reputable clients based in Yeovil. This is a rolling contract role.

JOB PURPOSE

  • This role is under direction of Process Optimisation, and is accountable to, the Material Services Reporting Manager and is to support reporting and data analysis activities for Material Services

MAIN ACTIVITIES AND TASKS

Business Management

  • You are to produce and provide management reporting various reviews using specific tools to enable accurate timely collection data to all stakeholders.
  • Compile and provide necessary management reporting in supporting the monthly Business Management meetings for Material Services
  • Develop, maintain and issue reports to departmental leaders.

Analysis of Performance

  • You are to source and use data from across the stakeholder community, to establish an accurate perspective of how well the business is meeting customer and business requirements, by analysing trends and providing feedback.
  • You will be required to support reviews by providing information required in a timely manner.
  • Extract performance metrics for Material Services and provide the Process Optimisation Manager and senior management team with timely management review reports across Material Services business.

Process Management

  • You are to contribute to the management and maintenance of all business and technical processes originating in your area.
  • You are to ensure that those processes and procedures are clearly defined and fit for purpose, are current, and comply with the requirements of the Company Operating System, your Functional Manual, and relevant regulatory and legislative controls.
  • You are to review, scrutinise, and update those processes as necessary to reflect and address changes being planned or implemented elsewhere in the business, or changes within the external environment in which the business operates.
  • You are to ensure that business processes are adhered to during the execution of any work activity within your area.

Information Management

  • Ensure the data and information amasses as a consequence of activities that you undertake is properly recorded, maintained and managed, so that is it auditable, and useable, and meets any relevant legislation requirement which may apply.
  • Apply technical and business knowledge to judge whether data is kept or destroyed. Use the technical knowledge you have, or control, to ensure that the appropriate data is maintained, and referenced, in a way that will allow it to be correctly, clearly and unambiguously understood and used for future technical and business needs.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Analytical skills, proficiency with office suite applications, in particular Excel and Access
  • Proficiency with SAP and BI.
  • Communications skills. Have the ability to collect/check/correct information to produce standard reports. Read, understand and make use of published information. Use general statistics in performance job role. The ability to communicate effectively at all levels, internally and with suppliers, sub-contractors and Customers.
  • Interpersonal skills. Have the ability to give guidance and support to others and to provide/obtain information from other areas of the Company.
  • Self-motivated and able to work as part of an integrated team, ability to identify work priorities so as to maximise on time available.
  • The ability to collect, collate, analyse and present complex information clearly and concisely in writing and verbally to audiences comprising of multi-disciplinary groups.
