Bell Piney Flats Aircraft Services Team

Come join the Bell Piney Flats Aircraft Services team and help ensure best in class service to our customers. In this position, you’ll be an integral part of the Aircraft Services team, performing a variety of tasks such as moving aircraft, assisting with flight line duties, etc.

What you’ll be doing as Line Crew

Detail aircraft with general supervision and apply protective coatings.
Move aircraft to meet schedule and department requirements.
Assist with flight line duties (ex. removing main rotor blades from aircraft).
Perform incoming inspections on aircraft and applying protective coverings.
Perform regular inspections on the fueling equipment.
Perform routine inspections on overhead hoists.
Move loose equipment and aircraft cowlings.
Move parts with a tractor.
Clean aircraft hangars.
Assist Logistics team with packing and wrapping of aircraft for shipment.
Additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Skills You Bring To this Role
Close attention to detail and ability to follow instructions (both written and verbal).
Able to work well with others in a team environment.
Preferred: Auto detailing experience. Familiarity with aircraft and/ or flight line operations.

What you need to be successful
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum 1 year manufacturing experience, or general mechanical aptitude. Additional experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs., and to team lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to perform prolonged kneeling, squatting, sitting, crawling, and climbing stairs, ladders and work stands.
Ability to stand for extended periods during the entire duration of shift.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components and tools.
Flexibility to bend, stoop, and crouch as required for tasks.
Good vision, including the ability to focus on small details and identify defects.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding progress and potential issues.
Willingness to follow instructions and ask for clarification when needed.
