Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a
Legal Counsel (d/f/m)The mission of our department is to provide the legal support to the Military Aircraft programme line and to safeguard the legal interests of Military Aircraft. As Legal Counsel you will be a first point-of-contact for legal/ contractual matters of the Air Services and Research business, with an emphasis on German Defence Procurement Law and advise in these matters under the supervision of the Head of Legal Combat A/C and Air Services.

Your tasks and responsibilitiesLegal Counselling during International Tendering Procedures and advising on contractual matters in complex multinational Military Aircraft Programmes
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts and/or other legal documents, including sales & supplier agreements, licensing, confidentiality and cooperation agreements
Analysing and advising on the legal validity of claims from and against customers, suppliers and partners
Identifying and advising on potential legal risks in commercial contracts and industrial set-ups for large international projects
Providing legal training for other departments and supporting the preparation of standard contractual documents for commercial transactions
Support Team related coordination tasks
This role will involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
Desired skills and qualificationsSecond State Exam (Volljurist) in German Law with distinction (Prädikatsexamina)
Further UK or US law degree obtained through International studies abroad with a focus on Business Law are a plus
Extended background as lawyer with post-qualification experience gained either from a leading international law firm or another multinational company
Experience in providing legal advise on international defence programmes
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and beeing a team player
International working experience
Negotiation level in German and English
Spanish is a plus
