Intern, Legal 1L Clerkship (Summer 2025)
Job Description:

How youll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

Delta Air Lines is the premier US-based provider of air travel services that continues to grow its presence around the world. Through strategic joint ventures, innovative revenue enhancements, and continued cost and capacity discipline, Delta now stands ahead of the pack of network carriers in terms of products and services, operational performance, frequent flyer programs and customer service. The Law Department provides centralized legal services and support for Delta Air Lines and its affiliates and subsidiaries worldwide.
Each summer the Delta Law Department hosts a 6-week summer intern program for first-year law school students. Our program offers interns an introduction to the practice of law and an overview of the field of aviation. Our interns support in-house counsel with research, writing and other legal work across a variety of practice areas that could include commercial, corporate governance and securities, employment, environmental, finance, international, litigation, spaneting, and real estate law. Our interns work closely with in-house practicing attorneys and are afforded the opportunity to apply legal principles to real business situations within the airline industry.
Although our interns may work on a variety of projects with several attorneys, each intern has a single attorney who serves as his or her mentor. The 2025 summer program is expected to start on Monday, June 9th and ends on Friday, July 18th.
