Identity and Access Management Technician

Job Description:

DPP is seeking an Identity and Access Management Technician for an opportunity in Columbia, SC.
Candidates must be eligible to earn a low-level US security clearance.

Work arrangement:

Partially onsite: Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and as needed in Columbia, SC.
W2 position; 12 months
Must be eligible to earn a low-level US security clearance, which requires a thorough background search and US citizenship.

Summary:

The Identity and Access Management Technician is responsible for managing and executing identity and access management (IAM) processes to ensure secure and efficient user access to critical systems and applications.
This role supports organizational compliance, security standards, and operational needs by provisioning and maintaining access across multiple platforms.
Fast paced, multi-platformed environment which may require action and response 24X7 to support the technical business needs of the customer.

Required skills and abilities:

Applications – CM8 / WMS / RULES
Ability to gain knowledge of IT security systems and concepts, LAN access control systems, enterprise server and LAN applications and subsystems, and user administration on single platforms.
Ability to acquire knowledge for multiple platforms.
Able to quickly learn new tools and emerging technologies.
Able to acquire knowledge of industry standards for corporate information security systems as they relate to customer and governmental regulatory requirements.
Standard office equipment

Preferred:

Intermediate knowledge of IT security systems and concepts.
Intermediate knowledge of LAN access control systems.
Intermediate knowledge of LAN auditing and access management tools and scripts.
Intermediate knowledge of enterprise server and LAN applications and subsystems.
Intermediate knowledge of industry standards for corporate information security systems.
Intermediate knowledge of industry standards for corporate information security systems.
Able to quickly learn new tools and emerging technologies.
In-depth knowledge of customer departments and their functions.
In-depth knowledge of requirements for governmental programs and regulations.
In-depth knowledge of corporate policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.

Job/class description:

Learn to create, modify, delete, maintain, and monitor system access identification for corporate email system, LAN, enterprise server (RACF) applications and subsystems, remote access, web browsing, and/or application level security databases. Assist in the review, verification, and implementation of security requests.
Perform system access reviews to ensure compliance with corporate security policies and standards. Participate in related project work as needed such as documentation of work, process implementations and procedure updating.
Create and/or review data access reports to research service requests or issues. May also be asked to review reports to ensure compliance with corporate information security policies, standards, guidelines and procedures.

Required education/equivalencies:

Bachelor&39;s degree Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree;
OR, Associate’s degree in CS, IT, or other job-related degree plus 2 years of work-related experience;
OR 4 years of job related work experience
