The Government Property (GP) Subcontractor Team Generalist applies Lean principles to ensure compliance with all applicable GP Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) (e.g. FAR 52.245-1), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) (e.g. DFARS 252.245-7003), company policies, and procedures. This team is responsible for achieving functional and business objectives related to GP assets at subcontractor locations. In this role, you will help drive compliant, efficient, and timely execution of GP objectives, supporting internal and external audits, and process improvement initiatives. This role provides GP functional support throughout the lifecycle of government contracts, from initial contract pre-award to final property closeout and disposition. This role may involve collaboration with key stakeholders, including Sourcing, DCMA/Customer, Supply Chain, Engineering, Programs, and Subcontractors. Government Property includes special tooling, materials, equipment, special test equipment, and engine hardware purchased, leased, or furnished by the government, or acquired specifically to fulfill government contract requirements. Essential Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with GP Management System requirements, including acquisition, receiving, records, identification, movement, physical inventory, subcontractor control, reports, relief of stewardship, loss reporting, utilization, declaration of excess, maintenance, and contract closeout activities.
Assist in corrective action processes, including root cause investigations, corrective action plan development, and execution of corrective actions.
Qualifications/Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in sourcing, government contracts, government property management, asset management, quality, program/project management, or a related field within manufacturing, industrial, or supply chain environments.
Basic understanding of manufacturing operations and contracting/program management organizations, including interrelated support systems such as Planning, Engineering, Quality, Inventory Management, Logistics, and Shipping/Receiving.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication, for interfacing and coordinating with government representatives, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite and aptitude to learn and utilize other software programs such as IMPACT, Oracle, Clarity, Spotfire, etc.
The base pay range for this position pay range is $108,900.00 - 145,400.00USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on August 10, 2025.
