Cybersecurity Engineer, Senior (NJUS)
Job Description:

Join the NetJets Team
NetJets, the global private aviation leader for more than 60 years, provides the pinnacle of private travel, defined by a signature commitment to unwavering safety, personalized service, and reliable global access. Discover why NetJets is the ultimate career destination, offering exceptional benefits and growth opportunities.

Purpose of Position
The Senior Identity Management Cybersecurity Engineer supports the design, implementation, and ongoing improvement of NetJets identity governance capabilities, with a primary focus on SailPoint IdentityNow. This role partners with security, infrastructure, and application teams to deliver reliable identity lifecycle processes, access request workflows, and access review controls. The engineer contributes to IAM standards and roadmaps, implements integrations and automation, and helps strengthen NetJets security posture and compliance readiness through practical, scalable solutions.

Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Implement and support SailPoint IdentityNow capabilities, including joiner/mover/leaver processes, access requests, access certifications, and policy controls.
  • Contribute to IAM reference architectures, design patterns, and implementation standards for cloud identity governance.
  • Support the IAM roadmap by providing technical input, implementation estimates, and recommendations aligned with business needs and security requirements.
  • Deliver IdentityNow enhancements from design through implementation, testing, and operational handoff, following established change and release practices.
  • Serve as a senior technical resource for IdentityNow troubleshooting, configuration guidance, and platform optimization.
  • Provide technical guidance to application owners and platform teams on identity onboarding, entitlement modeling, and access review readiness.
  • Build and enhance automation using IdentityNow connectors, workflows, and APIs to improve provisioning accuracy and reduce manual effort.
  • Assist with role engineering, access policy configuration, and segregation of duties (SoD) controls in collaboration with security and business stakeholders.
  • Configure and support access certifications (manager and application owner reviews), including campaign setup, troubleshooting, and audit evidence collection.
  • Partner with GRC and internal teams to support SOX, PCI DSS, and internal security assessments by providing IAM-related inputs and evidence.
  • Implement and maintain integrations with enterprise directories, HR platforms, SaaS applications, and custom systems.
  • Help ensure identity data flows are secure, scalable, and resilient across cloud and hybrid environments, escalating risks and issues as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and security teams to embed identity governance controls into enterprise platforms and delivery processes.
  • Identify identity-related risks, configuration gaps, and operational inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Monitor platform health, control effectiveness, and adoption metrics; respond to incidents and service requests within defined SLAs.
  • Stay current on SailPoint capabilities and identity security trends; suggest incremental enhancements to mature the IAM program.
