Job Description:

A vacancy for a job has arisen within Air Power Services Finance in Getafe, Madrid. 

You will join Air Power Services CoCs F&C (TFASA) Team as the Controller responsible for overseeing overall consolidation of the Spanish perimeter managing all relevant financial processes. The team comprises 25 people present in France, Germany and Spain supporting both Centers of Competence in Air Power Services.

You will perform a complete set of finance activities:

Starting by Operating Planning (OP), Budgeting Process, Forecast, Estimate at Completion, Monthly closure and gap analysis but also Business cases, participation to offer process
Preparing and drumbeating monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports, understanding deviations, and pushing for recovery actions whenever necessary together with the respective controller and the business side
Monitoring and following up the Resources Plan (internal Headcount), Hourly Rates, WL including the tracking of associated Subcontracting/ Purchasing Plan
Assuring that cost base is aligned with OP budget
Seeking for any potential budget savings and efficiencies (e.g. Transformation), carefully managing own expenses (travels, internal and external workshops/events, trainings) to reduce cash-out
Adding value through challenge within controlling team to ensure that the relationship between forecasts, actuals & the targets is maintained tracking closely compliance with agreed payment plans
Following-up proper allocation of R&D and R&T Budgets within the respective CoC in line with Programme Directives
Giving support to CoC in business cases elaboration for capex investments, R&D and other special projects
In summary: You will be the primary interface to the CoC PMOs and Finance Community for all finance related matters to Services CoCs in Spain.
