We are currently hiring Wire Harness Assemblers & Avionics Technicians for an aerospace manufacturing company in North Dakota.
As a Avionics Technician/Wire Harness Assembler, you will prepare, cut, join, and assemble wire harnesses and cable harnesses.
Avionics Technician/Wire Harness Assembler, job duties:
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, work instructions, and other technical documentation.
- Use crimpers, wire cutters(both manual and automatic), and soldering tools.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments such as calipers.
- Fabricate and assemble wire and cable harnesses to build finished products.
- Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize assembly processes.
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of assembly techniques.
- Electrical wiring and soldering
Preferred education and experience:
- 5+ years’ avionics or wire harness assembly experience
- 5+ years’ aerospace, defense, communications, or aviation experience
- IPC certification or additional technical education a plus
Working conditions:
- Standing, pushing, pulling, bending, and lifting
- Lifting and handling objects up to 40 pounds
- Standing for 10-12 hour shifts
Expected duration of 6 months with possibility of extension.
