We are seeking a CMM Programmer to support our manufacturing Engineering and Operations teams in creating CMM Programs and providing on the floor metrology support. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Engineering and Operations to create efficient CMM programs and provide setup support. It will also be a responsibility to provide accurate estimates for new CMM Programs. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with skilled professionals, leverage advanced technologies, and contribute to the success of Raytheon ELCAN.
What You Will Do:
- Create accurate and efficient CMM Programs for Optical/Mechanical components and assemblies
- Provide on the floor Metrology support
- Provide accurate estimates for metrology programs & support
- Collaborate with team members to create optimal metrology fixturing
- Collaborate with a cross functional team including Operations, Engineering & Program Management
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Completion of Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with CMM and Mechanical Metrology Equipment
- Strong technical ability to interpret drawings and geometrical dimensioning and tolerances (GD&T)
- Proven ability to solve technical problems and make sound decisions
- Highly motivated with a demonstrated positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and acquire knowledge/understanding through study, instruction or experience
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience working with Mitutoyo Apex & Starrett metrology equipment
- Proficient user of Autodesk Inventor CAD software
- Previous experience in a machine shop environment with tight tolerances

The salary range for this role is 54,000 CAD - 93,150 CAD . The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.RTX offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical and dental coverage, disability benefits, a retirement savings program, and tuition assistance through RTX’s Employee Scholar Program.
