As a Bench Operator you’ll set up and operate a variety of hand tools such as hammers, files, Dremels, drills, presses, low temperature ovens, pullers, and hand grinders to perform various operations such as blending, blasting, chemical cleaning & stripping, chasing threads, deburring, angle checking, coldworking metals, masking.
**Entry level position, no experience needed. We will train qualified candidates.
What you’ll do:
- Chemical Cleaning - Receive, clean, inspect and prepare blades for production.
- In process quality inspections.
- Blending of blades.
- Complete the appropriate paperwork.
- Support cell personnel with the performance and appropriate documentation of maintenance or alterations performed.
- Confirm quality of work performed through routine in-process checks.
- Track and communicate status of assigned work orders to ensure on time delivery is met.
- Cover for absent team members to avoid interrupting the flow.
- Perform start-up and shut down activities of the production facility as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- You must be (or become) thoroughly familiar with the use of all tooling, equipment, technical data and inspection aids for their overhauling of the Blades.
- Read and interpret manuals, technical drawings, and blueprints.
- Team player attitude and flexible with leaning in to assist with duties outside work scope.
- Follow both written and verbal instructions.
- Lift up to 25lbs without assistance.
- Able to stand for extended periods of time during the blending process
- Understand, speak, read and write English

Pay rate: $19-20/HR
