🚀 About the RoleAs a Machine Operator (Shear Operator – Level 1), you’ll be a key player in the production of precision-cut titanium sheets used for aerospace applications. Your work directly impacts the quality and reliability of critical components used in aviation—helping keep the world moving safely and efficiently.
Location: Washington, MO 63090
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Pay Rate: Up to $20.22/hour
Conversion Opportunity: Potential to become a full-time employee after 90 days based on performance
What You’ll Do (Day-to-Day Responsibilities)Operate shear machinery to cut titanium sheets to precise dimensions
Safely move materials using mobile equipment such as forklifts
Assist with lifting, positioning, and aligning metal sheets for cutting
Inspect surfaces for defects and ensure product quality
Measure materials using micrometers and thickness gauges
Perform machine setup, monitor operations, and identify errors
Complete minor maintenance and keep equipment clean and functional
Work closely with your team to ensure smooth and safe production flow
What You BringRequired Qualifications:
Basic computer skills and ability to navigate simple systems
Ability to read and understand production orders, SOPs, and safety guidelines
Basic math skills and ability to use measuring tools accurately
Physical capability to stand, walk, lift, and handle materials throughout the shift
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in manufacturing or machine operation (not required!)
Forklift experience
A team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
Problem-solving ability and willingness to learn

Pay Details: $20.22 per hour
