* Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., Associate’s) and typically 9 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Bachelor’s +7 years of related work experience, 11 years of related work experience, etc.).
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in nondestructive evaluation.
* Knowledge of computer-aided design tools and systems such as computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM), CATIA, Mentor Graphics, and Unigraphics.
* ASNT Level 2 certification in Eddy Current and Ultrasonic nondestructive evaluation testing methods.
* Ability to travel a minimum of 10%.

* A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in nondestructive evaluation or nondestructive testing engineering in a regulated industry such as aerospace, defense, or energy.
* Experience with nondestructive evaluation processes, including ultrasonic testing, radiography, eddy current testing, and penetrant inspection.
* ASNT Level 2 certification in multiple nondestructive evaluation processes, including ultrasonic testing, radiography, eddy current testing, and penetrant inspection.
* Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams and supporting technical and non-technical customers.
* Strong understanding of materials behavior, stress analysis, and fracture mechanics.
* Experience with project management tools.
* Excellent time management skills to manage multiple simultaneous projects across various geographical locations. Job Duties & Functions
* Apply nondestructive evaluation methods such as acoustic, electromagnetic, thermal, optical, and radiologic principles to analyze and evaluate parts, materials, processes, technology, and equipment.
* Lead, coordinate, and conduct complex analysis of failed parts and processes to reduce or eliminate future failures.
* Generate test plans, identify and categorize failures, determine root causes, and document results and recommendations.
* Maintain compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
* Lead the proposal, development, and validation of revisions to procedures and specifications.
* Determine the suitability of parts, materials, and processes and coordinate the resolution of complex issues with suppliers and customers.
* Support audits, root cause analyses, and failure investigations as a subject matter expert.
* Support continuous improvement of products and processes through design, development, fabrication, testing, evaluation, and implementation of new concepts and technology.
* Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers and technicians.
