We are seeking a meticulous and experienced CMM Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring precise inspection and documentation of parts and products, utilizing PC-DMIS for programming and inspecting characteristics of parts, tooling, and reverse engineering.

Responsibilities

• Clock into job to record inspection times.
• Receive and inspect Outside Vendor (OSV) parts and documentation for compliance with required process, certification, and any other required paperwork.
• Document and report on all discrepancies that vary from customer or internal requirements.
• Perform in-process inspections per documented requirements and report on all discrepancies.
• Perform CMM programming using PC-DMIS to inspect characteristics for parts, tooling, and reverse engineering.
• Prepare internal Inspection Discrepancy Reports (QA Hold) as required using a computer entry system.
• Document acceptance/rejections on the appropriate router.
• Perform source inspections as requested by customers and complete all associated documentation.
• Prepare Inspection Discrepancy Report (IDR) as required and input data into the QA database.
• Compare completed products with parts lists, drawings, blueprints, customer purchase orders, customer specifications, and/or sample models to ensure compliance.
• Verify specified dimensions of product or material and prepare and complete Detailed Inspection Plans (DIP).
• Perform first article inspections and complete all associated documentation.
• Keep the work area clean at all times (5 Ss).
• Complete other projects as assigned by Quality Inspection Manager.

• Minimum of five years of experience with dimensional tolerance inspection (Y14.5) of aerospace products.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, interpreting work instructions, and strong PC skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with PC-DMIS is highly preferred.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

• ISO and/or NADCAP experience is preferred.
• Vision Acuity certification.
• Customer certification for product acceptance.

Work Environment

The work environment is typically moderate in noise level, with occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles. Employees are regularly required to sit, stand, and walk about the facility, with some bending and stooping required. Specific vision abilities, such as close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus, are necessary. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. The position operates on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday, from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with overtime being a possibility but not guaranteed.

The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $83200.00/yr.
