Airbus is looking for a Technical Project Lead to join in Bengaluru, India. The individual responsible for following the software development & operations processes by using dedicated tools and ensuring the on-time, quality delivery of software releases independently.

The Cabin and Customisation Design Automation product consists of solutions and services to ensure automated and seamless E2E use of customer definition for all downstream processes from offer until end of A/C operations. 

C&C domain operating in a transnational manner, headquartered in Hamburg, Germany.

Qualification & Experience:

• Engineering graduate with 6-8 years of experience in managing software development.

  • 3-5 years on software/tool development in any technology.

  • 4&43; years hands-on experience with Aras PLM Innovator performing configuration and customization, integrations and Aras modules (Change Management, BOM & Part Management, Configuration & Variant Management, Quality Management, Requirements Management, Manufacturing Process Planning at the enterprise level is strongly desired.

  • Good experience with Web API Services: REST and SOAP

  • Work with Aras Federation Services to provide unified access to external systems Integration & Data Migration ERP, CAD, PDM/PLM.

  • 2-4 years on project management

  • 2-4 years of business process analysis

  • 1-2 years of subcontractor management experience

  • 1-2  years of experience in the area of bespoke and COTS applications management.

• Certification in ITIL and  Waterfall / Agile/ SAFe project methodologies 

• Experienced in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders transnationally.

• Experienced in working within a Product delivery lifecycle

• Software quality management awareness.

• Hands-on experience in programming language (C, .Net, JS, HTML, XML, XSL, SQL), and database (SQL Server, Oracle)

• Experience in working in 

  • Authentication and encryption technologies

  • PaaS technologies such as open shift 

  • DevOps tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Ansible, JFrog Artifactory, VersionOne, Sonarqube etc.

• Knowledge of Sustainability IT will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Should be a single point of contact for a project involving the ARAS PLM platform on technical inputs.

• Experience handling large-scale legacy PLM to Aras migration, understanding of the Aras Innovator suite of tools

• Should be up to date on Aras Innovator solutions and be proactive in understanding customer’s business and suggest timely usage.

• Communicate & secure the plan, scope, schedule, commitments with key stakeholders, both business and Digital.

• Secure dependencies between ARTs impacting the global plan, and incorporate the limitations, dependencies capturing the critical path and risk mitigation to secure it.

• Coordinate and drumbeat the integrated plan to ensure the delivery of functionality on time and remove impediments through weekly/daily/as needed Project Project progress review

• Weekly/Monthly reporting through appropriate communication channels mails/gsite.

• Prepare the required deliveries for various release milestones/quality gates and conduct milestone review meetings to ensure Project progress with sufficient quality/maturity.

• Track/Manage the risk and issues that affect the scope and schedule of the release.

• Secure the deployment slot with projects and communicate it with key stakeholders.

• Create a robust EIS plan and coordinate the Go-Live activity with the participating projects.

• Ensures and shares best practices and lessons learnt across stakeholders

• Establish sustainable stakeholder networking of relevant teams.

• Bespoke and COTS Application Release and Configuration Management in Airbus Windows and Linux Environments.

• Application Lifecycle Planning/Management : Deployment, Maintenance, Support and Retirement Planning.

• Prepare and maintain technical discovery, demos, proof of value, POC, presentation, sizing, and documentation describing configurations and procedures for performing installations. Maintaining the first-time-right approach is a must.

• Manage and monitor partners & subcontractors. He/she manages contractual relationships (in partnership with Procurement) to successfully ensure the delivery on time, cost & quality with relevant partners. He/she ensures products are delivered meeting the expected business value, addressing major challenges and the resulting expectations and needs.

• Adapt and use multiple forms of communication styles to ensure that all people/stakeholders are willing and able to follow common objectives. He/she negotiates & influences using reasoned advocacy in order to gain buy-in as well as using facilitation techniques to manage situations of conflict. He/she uses flexible and adaptable working styles to build and develop effective cross-functional team work. He/she interacts with people of different cultural backgrounds in a constructive manner to achieve commonly accepted project results.

• Candidate shall be willing to work in European Shift Times when needed(upto 10.30 PM IST in Summer and 11.30 PM IST in winter.) 

Travel

• Willingness to travel for a short term to Europe.
