Norwegian is setting up Red Handling in Denmark, which will be our in-house ground handling services (passenger services & operations).

We are looking for a dynamic and highly professional Team Leader Passenger Services that will help ensure that the highest levels of safety, compliance and operational performance is achieved for the entire Norwegian passenger and operations activities at Copenhagen Airport

Place of work is Copenhagen Airport (CPH) and your daily tasks is to be responsible for management of team while on shift so that highest levels of safety, compliance, customer service and operational performance is achieved by the team.

You are our ideal candidate if you have:

  • Relevant experience in a customer service or station control role within aviation/travel industry.
  • Proven leadership skills to manage a large dynamic team on shift.
  • Strong customer focus in developing customer centricity process.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with individuals and groups, ensuring effective flow of information in terms of awareness and understanding.
  • Ability to work effectively with peers and other business units.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Recording attendance of staff and assisting the Duty Manager to cover any shortfalls in uncovered shifts.
  • Carrying out daily shift briefings with relevant staff and contribute to shift summary reports.
  • Managing and overseeing that team SLA’s, KPI’s & engagement standards are met when on shift.
  • Ensuring allocation of scheduled breaks in line with CBA’s awhile ensuring the operation is covered with the required resources at all times during the day.
  • Responsible for preparing shift handovers and reports for handovers
  • Helping push the establishment of a culture of continuous improvement, e.g. promote surfacing of improvement ideas and help with problem-solving and implementing solutions
  • Identifying development needs and performance issues within the team and addressing this with Duty Manager & Station Manager
  • Supporting Duty Manager with properly allocating resources on a daily basis to ensure the highest standards are met
  • Covering for Duty Manager in case of sickness or holiday
  • This job description is not limiting in comparison to other duties, as the Company may consider other duties appropriate to post the position on a permanent or temporary basis
  • Based at CPH Airport but some travel may be required to support operations around the network.
