The Pratt & Whitney Global Distribution and Logistics organization is seeking a candidate to join our Northeast Logistics Center (NELC) located in Londonderry, NH.  This position will be responsible for tactical planning and execution of the daily operation and strategic initiatives.  The selected candidate will coordinate daily priorities between Pratt & Whitney and the 3rd Party Logistics provider, set and drive projects and lead improvement for the site.  This role will team with Pratt & Whitney internal customers and support organizations to ensure 100 operational capabilities. 

What You Will Do

  • Assist the General Manager and act as backup in his/her absence.
  • Drive results across the organization to ensure the General Managers intent is met.
  • Communicate results to our customers and leadership teams.
  • Engage with the 3PL in support of daily/monthly operational goals and metrics.
  • Ensure all Policy Deployments and Profit Assurance goals are met.
  • Drive timely and effective identification of root cause and resolution of corrective actions.
  • Identify, lead and drive results on strategic projects.

Qualifications You Must Have 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Project Management and 10 years of experience in Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain, or Continuous Improvement or an Advance degree and 7 years of experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Qualifications We Prefer

  • SAP Experience
  • Experience managing a 3PL or supplier.
  • Logistics or Supply Chain certification from and industry organization, such as ASCM/APICS
  • An understanding of ERP, MRP and/or inventory/order management systems.
  • Understanding of production logistics – supporting manufacturing with parts presentation kitting.
  • Experience working with contracted logistics, or at a minimum supplier management experience.
  • Experience using continuous improvement tools (six sigma, kaizen, ACE, CORE)

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
