How youll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) The Strategic Sourcing Manager – IT Supply Chain is responsible for sourcing and negotiating key products and services utilized by Delta’s IT department, as well as technology used across divisions. This includes contracting for hardware, software, professional services, and managed services.Skills and Competencies:Delta’s mainframe environmentData center hardwareEnd-user computing hardware (including airport kiosks)IT developer toolsLead sourcing projects in collaboration with business unitsKey Responsibilities:Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business goalsManage supplier selection, negotiations, and contract executionPartner with cross-functional teams including legal, finance, and information securityMaintain strong relationships with internal stakeholdersEnsure compliance with company policies and ethical standardsThe Strategic Sourcing Manager will build and maintain relationships with business leaders and controllers, understand both short- and long-term business strategies, and lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies. This includes supplier selection, negotiation, and contracting, in close partnership with legal, information security, and finance teams. Occasional travel may be required. Safety-conscious behavior is expected in all operational processes and procedures.
