Senior Project Manager
Cannonsburg, PA
Contract Position
This position is supporting the next generation in developing mission critical systems for our national defense. You would be a part of creating the most effective and state of the art technologies for Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance supporting the Army, Navy, Air Force, Special Forces, and other Federal Government agencies working with our military.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with managing cost, schedule, and technical performance of programs to ensure project contractual work products are delivered on time and within budget.
- Manages subcontracts for critical components supplied by company partners.
- Provide for an additional program interface with customers and the internal engineering and production team..
- Assist with the development of the performance measurement baseline and monitors execution, including establishment of and routine reporting on the technical performance, financial status, and program risks and issues.
- Assist the Program Manager by drafting the monthly Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR) in coordination with inputs from Control Account Managers.
- Identify program problems and issues, and coordinates with the Program Manager, functional managers and customers to obtain solutions.
- Review reports and briefings prepared by staff for quality and compliance to contract requirements.
- Provide oversight and management of supplementary technical instructions from the customer.
- Support execution of program reviews (quarterly travel anticipated).
- Prepare and deliver formal briefings.
- Complie with quality assurance and security procedures in the performance of duties.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Masters degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to Obtain Secret Clearance
- Demonstrated project leadership in a related engineering development and/or production program.
- Integrated hardware and software systems with a high degree of complexity.
- Knowledgeable of defense contracting and finance, including Earned Value (EIA-748).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Experienced with MS Office and related software applications.
