- Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technical specialists in delivering smart factory initiatives, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for smart factory deployment, including MES, APS, Tool Data Management, WMS, CMMS, EMS, and other integrated systems to support a fully connected production environment.
- Drive end-to-end integration of factory systems with IoT platforms and enterprise solutions, ensuring real-time data flow, visibility, and operational intelligence across production lines.
- Oversee program impact assessments, including budget, schedule, and technical feasibility, and present recommendations to senior leadership.
- Define project scope, deliverables, milestones, timelines, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and operational objectives.
- Manage budgets for smart factory programs, ensuring cost-effectiveness, financial discipline, and alignment with business priorities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technology requirements, implement solutions, and establish governance standards for system integration.
- Establish training and change management programs to enable employees to effectively adopt new technologies and processes.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery of projects, while maintaining operational continuity.
- Regularly monitor and report on project performance, KPIs, and outcomes to leadership, providing insights for strategic decision-making.
- Champion continuous innovation, ensuring the smart factory systems evolve with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Qualification and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Digital Technology, Computer Science or related discipline
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of motivating and developing teams.
- Strong expertise in MES, APS, Tool Data Management, WMS, CMMS, EMS, IoT connectivity, and integration with ERP systems.
- Project management skills, including experience with Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with experience in budgeting, resource planning, and risk management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of presenting complex technical concepts to senior leadership.
