YOUR ROLE AS:

As a Senior Executive, you will champion Fly-Thru (connecting flight services) and ancillary product development at AirAsia. This role focuses on growing revenue, improving product offerings, and enhancing the end-to-end guest experience across the network. The ideal candidate brings a strong commercial mindset, operational know-how, and passion for aviation and travel innovation.

WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION:

  • Lead and manage Fly-Thru product development: identify opportunities to expand Fly-Thru routes and enhance booking flows, baggage handling, and guest experience.

  • Optimize ancillary upselling across digital and offline channels, including baggage, insurance, seat selection, meals, and bundles.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (tech, operations, spaneting, network planning) to improve product performance and delivery.

  • Monitor and report on performance KPIs, including attach rates, conversion, and revenue per passenger.

  • Develop pricing and bundling strategies to increase conversion and yield.

  • Identify spanet trends, guest needs, and competitor movements to support innovation and tactical campaigns.

  • Support always-on campaigns, promotions, and A/B testing to drive ancillary revenue.

  • Work with OTA and distribution partners to scale Fly-Thru visibility and uptake.

  • Coordinate guest communication and experience touchpoints to reduce friction and improve satisfaction.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field.

  • 3–5 years of experience in spaneting, business development, or product development; experience in aviation, airline strategy, or ancillary revenue is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of commercial aviation business dynamics.

  • Excellent analytical skills and proficiency with data tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau).

  • Strong presentation skills to communicate complex ideas in clear, actionable reports.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Agile, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

Technical Skills:

  • Analytical and data interpretation skills to drive product strategy.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, analysis) and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).

  • Familiarity with airline product development and pricing tools is an advantage.

Soft Skills & Competencies:

  • High attention to detail and adaptability in a dynamic environment.

  • Proactive, collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally.

  • Strong commercial and customer-centric mindset.
