Job Description BAE Systems is looking for an experienced Resource (Business/Financial) Manager to be responsible for the delivery of TO financials to support the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) cost and financial objectives. The Resource Manager shall implement processes and procedures to ensure costs are captured accurately and tracked to the appropriate level of granularity to meet USACE requirements. The Resource Manager shall establish processes necessary to achieve Technology Business Model (TBM) frameworks and allow USACE the ability to provide its customers with a consumption billing model for services provided.
The Resource (Business/Financial) Manager compiles and reviews budgets using actual performance, previous budget figures, estimated revenue, expense reports, and other data sources to control funds and provide for proper financial administration. Prepares financial plans, analyzes trends, establishes personnel forecasts, recommends and interprets budgetary policies and procedures, prepares comparative evaluation of actual costs against budgeted funds, and determines rationale for variances between costs and budget.
The supported program provides enterprise IT services for USACE, including program management, IT infrastructure and shared services, general IT, cybersecurity services, engineering design, telecommunications services, emergency response, transformation, and surge/special projects capability and support.
This position is located on-site at the Government Accountability Office (GAO) Building in Washington, D.C..
