Job Description:

Tasks

Your main tasks include, among others:

  • Independently manage and supervise strategic LEAN projects at LTES and within the MES network, enabling production, production related departments and other organizational units to apply LEAN principles and methodologies
  • Design, coordinate and oversee continuous improvement activities and performance improvement measures
  • Act as a coach and trainer to empower organization-wide learning and foster the growth of a LEAN culture
  • Design and optimize business and production processes to maximize value, eliminate was, and improve production flow
  • Manage change initiated by transformation projects, provide instructions and trainings

 

 * Perform all other duties as assigned or required by Head of Portfolio & Network Development

Requirements

Step into the role of a Project Manager - LEAN, check the requirements below:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Master’s degree desirable
  • At least 3 years of experience in Project LEAN environment
  • Fluency in English language required
  • German language desirable
  • LEAN principles & methodologies (Lean Six Sigma green/black belt or equivalent desirable, Project management (PMP certification desirable)
  • Technical and processual knowledge in aerospace industry, specifically engine services
  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook as user
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent business sense
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent understanding of mathematical concepts
  • Excellent problem solving
  • Excellent quality consciousness
  • Excellent productivity driven
  • Excellent reasoning ability
  • Must possess a legal work permit in the U.S.
