Position Summary

Summary

The position will report into Module Manager to provide General administration support to operations Modules. Also, to track quality requirements and assist in improvement plans when required tracking actions from Material Review Board (MRB) meetings. Contribute and promote Parker Meggitt’s culture in line with the training. 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Make sure all team members have reviewed and signed Risk Assessments required Conduct regular 6s Audits within area and action any findings as appropriate.

  • Check compliance of Machine TPM/Sig off.

  • PPE Confirmation – ensure all team members are wearing the correct PPE for task being carried out.

  • Deliver toolbox talks/safety stand downs. 

  • Attend safety meetings and support Module Managers and EHS Team.

  • Adopt updating skills matrix/AUL list for team members.

  • Assist and support any improvement requirements/actions within the area. 

  • Carry out audits to confirm adherence to quality procedures and daily compliance checks.

  • Review daily targets and action any necessary counter measures.

  • Assist module admins with performing WIP & stock checks.

  • Support planning function, kit issuing and time sheet booking as required.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant educations and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations. 

  • 3 years of work experience in the related field is essential.

  • Experience in planning, scheduling and monitoring production cycles.

  • Capable of performing complex mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations.

  • Good organisational skills to lead activities of production cycle.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Able to analyse and determine methods and procedures. 

  • Skilled problem solver: exercises judgment, based on previous experience, practices and precedents, to identify and solve problems that arise with little or no precedent. 

  • Able to read and interpret company documents, such as safety rules, operating/manufacturing instructions, policies and procedures.
