Procurement Manager - Customer & Marketing

We are looking for a Procurement Manager to join the Commercial and Corporate team at easyJet, which covers Customer, Marketing, Digital, Distribution, Proposition and Partners, Inflight Retail, PR, Internal Comms, Sustainability, Legal, and Professional Services.

In this role, you will manage a diverse portfolio of spend across Marketing and Customer functions, working closely with a dynamic set of stakeholders to support easyJets goal of bringing the unbounded joy of travel (our Masterbrand) to our customers. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing a Procurement Category Plan that ensures best value from partners, conducting spend and market analysis, engaging with both stakeholders and suppliers, leading tender processes, and drafting contract templates for both existing and new needs.

A typical day might see you collaborating with the local marketing team in Italy to reshape our creative agency model, negotiating media agency commission rates, and running a Request for Information (RFI) to find agencies that can guide our brand identity and tone of voice. You will also be integral to strategic sourcing projects, negotiating competitive advantages with suppliers, and continuously driving improvements within the supply base.

Job Requirements:

What you need to do the role
To succeed in this role, you must be comfortable with change, confident in your communications, and able to challenge stakeholders up to the C-suite level. As the department undergoes wholesale ecosystem change, you will review everything from the supplier network to stakeholder processes to optimise efficiency.

Key to this role are strong stakeholder relationships and supplier management, a strategic mindset, and the ability to align procurement activities with business needs, ensuring maximum value. We are seeking a highly skilled professional with excellent negotiation and influencing skills, capable of maintaining relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership. You will be adept at understanding complex specifications and contract scopes, while also being able to think innovatively to create long-term strategies and solutions. Strong problem-solving skills, an ability to analyse detailed financial and management information, and experience in contract review are essential.

Your tenacity to deliver results and ability to influence at a senior level will help drive a successful, end-to-end tender process that maximises value for easyJet.

LOCATION & HOURS OF WORK
This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week. We support hybrid working and we spend three days per week in the office.
