Operational Insights Manager – Technical Services

Job Description:

DPP is seeking a Technical Services Operational Insights Manager for our client in the Defense & Space Manufacturing industry.

Work location: Fully remote, supporting 8 am to 5 pm ET working hours
Duration: 12 months
Term: W2 position
Work authorization: Must be a US Citizen to be eligible for this role.

Position summary:

The Technical Services Operational Insights Analyst will support an Enterprise Global Supply Chain Function for Risk Management.

Responsibilities:

Design and maintain performance dashboards: Develop and continuously update KPI, SLA, and utilization dashboards (user adoption and tool usage) to provide realtime visibility into project health.
Convert raw data into actionable insights: Analyze large data sets to uncover trends, risks, and growth opportunities, delivering recommendations that influence decisionmaking.
Track and report success metrics: Define, monitor, and report on success indicators that measure the impact of initiatives and operational effectiveness.
Create and manage central knowledge assets: Produce and keep current centralized documentation such as playbooks, templates, and bestpractice guides to ensure consistency across the organization.
Develop executivelevel presentations: Build datadriven slide decks with concise narratives that translate complex analysis into clear, strategic storytelling for senior leadership.
Benchmark operational maturity: Conduct comparative analyses to assess current performance against industry standards and internal maturity models, identifying gaps and improvement pathways.

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Proven experience building and maintaining KPI dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate raw data into strategic insights.
Excellent written and verbal communication, especially in crafting executive presentations.

Preferred knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Experience developing playbooks, templates, or similar knowledgemanagement assets.
Familiarity with operational maturity frameworks and riskanalysis methodologies.
