The Manager, Learning Technology and Effectiveness is accountable for learning technology at WestJet including internal learning management systems and service partner learning systems. The role is responsible for the establishment and execution of a learning effectiveness framework and assessment system.
Description
- Recruit, onboard, lead, coach, performance manage, support, and develop the learning technology and effectiveness team while ensuring a safe training environment, fostering a focused, purpose driven and collaborative team.
- Accountable for the front-end operation of the Learning Management System
- Responsible for ensuring accurate data and tracking pertaining to training records compliance
- Accountable for the vendor relationship and administration of the Service Partner Portal
- Responsible for the establishment and execution of a learning effectiveness framework
- Investigate emerging learning technology and recommend improvements for WestJet learning technology roadmap
Qualifications
- Proven leadership skills demonstrated with a minimum of 3 years leading a team
- Minimum 5 years in a training role with responsibility for learning technology
- Collaborative relationship builder who can manage internal clients and external vendors to achieve excellent results with tight restrictions
- Professional communicator that is flexible, detail driven, with a proactive self-starter approach and exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and initiatives to successful and timely completion
- Project management and change management experience considered an asset
- Diploma or college degree is considered an asset
