Manager, Group Compliance & Quality Assurance
Reports To
Senior Manager Group Safety Compliance & Quality Assurance
Role Purpose
To manage and strengthen the compliance and quality assurance frameworks across all business entities under Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG). This role ensures that all operational, maintenance, and safety functions across MAG subsidiaries meet applicable regulatory and industry standards while fostering a strong compliance and quality-centric culture across the Group.
Key Accountabilities
Compliance Management
- Ensure group-wide compliance with applicable national and international aviation regulations, including CAAM and IATA standards to ensure ensuring coverage of operational, safety.
- Lead internal compliance audits and coordinate responses to regulatory inspections across MAG entities.
- Manage regulatory correspondence and ensure all submissions and responses are timely and accurate.
Quality Assurance Oversight
- Oversee the development and execution of a comprehensive Group Quality Assurance Program aligned with entity-specific standards.
- Conduct group-wide audits, assessments, and performance reviews of quality systems within MAG subsidiaries.
- Identify quality trends and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
Group Standards & Governance
- Participate the establishment and maintenance of Group Quality and Compliance governance, policies, and manuals.
- Review and harmonize compliance procedures across subsidiaries to ensure consistency, efficiency, and regulatory alignment.
- Provide technical guidance, interpretation of regulations, and support to Quality & Compliance teams within MAG subsidiaries.
Stakeholder Management & Training
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of compliance and quality professionals at the group level.
- Act as a key liaison between MAG and regulatory bodies, including CAAM, local and international aviation authorities.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation, Engineering, Quality Management, or equivalent discipline is preferred.
- Qualification as a Safety and Compliance Auditor
- Minimum 7 - 9 years of experience in Aviation Compliance and Quality Assurance
Areas of Experience
- Proven expertise in aviation regulatory frameworks and industry knowledge
- Proven background knowledge in flight and ground operations, engineering and maintenance, safety management, compliance/quality assurance and human factors
- Lead Safety / Quality Auditor Qualification

- Experience in interfacing with aviation regulators and managing cross-functional audits across multiple business units.
- Managerial - Possess strong management and conflict resolution skills and ability to multi-task
- Leadership - Possess strong leadership qualities and build a collaborative approach in the overall development of direction and operation function

- Ability to write report and good communication skills
