A remote working arrangement within US is available for this role.
As an Engine Trading Manager, you will procure and sell engine assets, including assets for lease, sale or teardown.
What you’ll do:
- Find engine assets meeting the agenda of Standard Aero Business Aviation. Present these assets to the team for analysis and discussion. Negotiate and acquire analyzed assets. This includes:
- Engines that can be repaired and sold or leased.
- Engines currently on lease generating revenue.
- Engines that can be readily sold or leased.
- Engines for part-out.
- Sell engine assets for the company.
- Work with legal, finance, and purchasing departments to prepare/direct/negotiate purchase agreements, partnership agreements and legal documentation required to close on a transaction.
- Coordinate with Site Engine Shops, Mobile Service Teams, Site Shipping & Purchasing Teams to ensure assets are properly purchased, shipped, inspected, received, and transitioned to stock.
- Respond in a timely and professional manner that meets customers or vendors requests and expectations.
- Expand the company’s trading relationships bringing in new customers.
Position Requirements:
Preferred Characteristics:
- 5 years of experience in Business Aviation
- 2+ years of experience in an Engine Trading role (Honeywell, Pratt & Whitney, Rolls Royce product lines preferred)
- Intermediate experience in Salesforce Software
- Ability to spot business opportunities in the acquisition and sales of aircraft engines
- Effective external and internal communication and presentation skills are required.
- Effectively interface with customers at trade shows, conferences, conventions, etc.
