Job Summary
The HRIS & People Analytics Lead is responsible for administration, optimization, and evolution of Cirrus HRIS technology and people analytics ecosystem. This role serves as a key liaison between HR, Payroll, IT, Finance, and system vendors to ensure data integrity, system functionality, reporting accuracy, and continuous improvement of HR technology solutions.
The HR Analyst supports core HR processes including employee data management, payroll integrations, benefits administration, performance management, and reporting while ensuring compliance with data privacy and security standards.
Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions
Data Integrity & Compliance
- Conduct regular audits or HRIS data, workflows, and integrations.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of employee data across systems.
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., ACA, EEO, FLSA)
- Maintain system documentation, SOPs, and process controls.
- Stay updated with relevant HR laws, regulations, and data protection requirements to ensure HRIS compliance.
- Compliance and Data Security: Implement security measures and protocols to safeguard HR data and prevent unauthorized access
HRIS Administration & Support
- Administer and maintain HRIS platform (UKG/UltiPro)
- Configure system functionality to support HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent, and Timekeeping processes.
- Manage system security roles, access controls, and user permissions.
- Troubleshoot system issues and partner with vendors and IT to resolve defects and enhancements.
- Act as subject matter expert for HR systems and related processes.
System Enhancements & Projects.
- Lead or support HRIS implementations, upgrades, integrations, and testing cycles.
- Conduct thorough testing of system changes and updates to ensure smooth functionality and user experience.
- Maintain and configure the HRIS platform, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data on employees, positions, organizational structure, and other HR-related information.
- Troubleshoot and resolve HRIS-related issues in a timely manner to minimize disruptions and maintain data integrity.
- Analyze user requests, identify problems, research solutions, and resolve technical problems as needed for the wide variety of applications and systems supported within HRIS
- Develop user guides and system documentation.
- Assist in maintaining project plans, folders, milestones, and resource requirements and communications related to HRIS projects.
- Support security controls to ensure appropriate access to functionality for users and monitor appropriate data security.
- Participate in system roadmap planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Gather requirements, document use cases and perform user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Support change management, communication, and training related to system changes.
- Identify data trends and provide insights to HR and business leaders to support strategic decision-making and planning.
Data Management and Reporting:
- Develop and maintain standard and ad hoc reports for HR leadership and HR leadership business partners.
- Collaborate with HR/EHS teams to develop and standardize data collection processes, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Manage user access, security permissions, and ensure data confidentiality and compliance with relevant data protection regulations.
- Partner with HR Business Services to translate business needs into system reporting solutions.
People Analytics, Reporting & Insights:
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of Power BI dashboards and report for key HR metrics (e.g., headcount, turnover, time-to-hire, engagement, performance, benefits, safety).
- Integrate data from multiple systems (HRIS, ATS, LMS, surveys) into high-quality analytics and dashboards.
- Create and maintain standard and ad hoc reporting for HR leadership & HR Business Services.
- Identify workplace trends and deliver actionable insights to HR and business leaders.
- Support predictive analytics efforts (e.g., attrition, risk, hiring forecasts).
- Communicate insights clearly to executive and operational audiences.
OTHER
- Act as a subject matter expert for HR systems and processes.
- Partner with Payroll, Benefits, Finance, IT and external vendors to ensure seamless data flow.
- Provide training and support to HR team members and system users.
- Follows standard operating procedures and processing guidelines while maintaining attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness.

- Bachelors degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Science or equivalent field required.
- Seven (7) years of experience in HR systems, people analytics, or related roles, with strong HR domain experience.
- Proven expertise in Power BI, data modeling, and data visualization best practices.
- Proficiency in HRIS software and tools (e.g., UKG, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, ADP, etc.).
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret data for decision-making purposes.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
