As General Manager – Yalago, you will develop and execute the long-term strategic plan to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share targets. You will oversee commercial and marketing activities, service offerings, IT roadmap, and business growth. Identifying product development opportunities and representing the business in high-level negotiations, aligned with dnata Travel strategy.
In this role, you will:
Plan:
- Develop and drive the strategic plan for business growth and profitability, aligning with dnata Travels global strategy.
- Collaborate with IT and shared services to agree on the Business Technology roadmap.
Deploy:
- Establish an annual sales plan aligned with dnata Travels budget, identifying new / growth clients and outlining planned sales volumes. Maintain global benchmarks for prices, margins, and revenues to ensure profitability.
- Collaborate with Corporate Communications to align marketing activities with growth and sales plans.
- Define performance objectives, recommend and implement initiatives to develop the brand, and expand into new verticals. Driving the product strategy to differentiate the brand and maintain relevance.
Lead:
- Champion a culture of open communication, clear direction, accountability, collaboration, and performance management within the dnata Travel Management Team. Define and cascade performance objectives for all levels.
- Represent the business in key stakeholder forums to drive market presence, including trade events, Central Ground service supplier initiatives, Emirates Group travel forums, and other industry bodies.
Execute:
- Accountable for achieving revenue targets, profitability, and effective utilisation of overhead expenses, manpower, and capital expenditure.
- Develop and maintain a Product Strategy, ensuring governance on pricing, bed requirements, and experiential aspects.
