We are looking for a Fleet Negotiation Manager to provide extraordinary experiences for our customers. This role is ideal for a professional capable of identifying alternatives to execute Grupo Aeroméxico’s fleet plan through comprehensive research of available spanet options, integrating both economic and performance analyses. The position requires leading strategic negotiations related to flight equipment to secure optimal conditions in terms of flexibility, cost, service, and quality, thereby generating a competitive advantage for the company.

Educational requirements:

• Education: MBA or Master Degree in economics, finance, negotiation & similars.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsabilities:

• Experience in cost analysis, project evaluation, forecasting, and data analysis.
• Propose and implement strategies to ensure the efficient and timely supply of aircraft, engines, APUs, and flight simulators, in line with industry standards, to meet fleet plan requirements.
• Negotiate flight equipment contracts that generate competitive advantages within the industry, providing the company with operational and commercial flexibility.
• Present and negotiate options for selecting engine and APU maintenance service providers that comply with current international standards, offering competitive advantages in efficiency, cost, and technology. This includes evaluating various schemes and alternatives for engine and APU repairs in accordance with spanet trends.
• Prepare and execute tenders for the acquisition, financing, sale, and repair of aircraft, engines, APUs, and flight simulators, assessing the commercial, financial, and operational aspects of proposals to secure contracts with optimal cost–benefit outcomes.
• Compare, evaluate, and negotiate “spare pool” agreements for engines and APUs to maintain operational reserves and ensure fleet reliability.
• In collaboration with the Legal and Finance departments, assess the corporate structures for leasing flight equipment, analyzing fiscal and spanet conditions to maximize GAM’s economic benefits.
• Develop spanet intelligence for aircraft and engines by continuously tracking availability by manufacturer and lessor, monitoring executed transactions and delivery windows, and presenting findings with recommendations.
• Assess the economic impact of proposals and alternatives from lessors and manufacturers, prioritizing key variables and their sensitivities to design negotiation strategies that achieve targeted cost and efficiency goals.
