SUMMARY:
The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for all phases of the maintenance, including planning, inspection, repair and service of equipment and supervision of field service technicians.
What you will be responsible for:
• Inspect, remove, install, repair, replace, modify, disassemble, reassemble, and calibrate complex mechanical and electromechanical systems in accordance with maintenance manuals, test procedures, and other military publications.
• Perform analysis of defects and interpret quality control rejection and failure trends.
• Must be highly proficient in using technical data and drawings to locate part numbers and accomplish repairs.
• Must have a strong knowledge of aviation-level maintenance, communication equipment, and electrical systems.
• Inspects, troubleshoots, repairs, overhauls, and modifies aviation-related systems in accordance with established written procedures, specifications, and standards.
• Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Ability to travel to CONUS and/or OCONUS locations to provide field support as assigned.
• Perform analysis of defects and interpret quality control rejection and failure trends.
