Structures Technician

Job Description

Responsible to work on Aircraft such as Twin Otter, Q400, Dash 8 - 200/300/400, and CL 215/415. As a structures technician, you will be involved in sheet metal works and heavy maintenance tasks, with a focus on Twin Otter aircraft. You will be working alongside an entire team while also having the opportunity to collaborate with a smaller team and a team lead to manage the crew. Your placement will be determined by the aircraft that best matches your skills and experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed or unlicensed structures technician
• 2 - 4 years of relevant experience
• Heavy maintenance experience
• Experience with Twin Otter aircraft (an asset)

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Calgary, Alberta.

Work Environment

Our facility is located in NE Calgary, where we have made a push to manufacture utility aircrafts, including CLs, Twin Otters, and waterbombers, out of the Calgary area. We currently operate out of five buildings in the North end of the city around the airport. This is where the final modifications take place. Shifts are from Monday to Friday, either day shift from 6AM - 2:30PM or afternoon shift, with the possibility to work on Saturdays and Sundays. Salary varies depending on experience and license status, with levels ranging from new hire to 6 or more years of experience, and premiums for license and type rating.
