Job Title: Structures Mechanic
Job DescriptionAs a Structures Mechanic, you will be responsible for the heavy maintenance and refurbishment of heavy-lift commercial helicopters (S64). This role involves utilizing blueprints to perform repairs through riveting, countersinking, bending, and cutting sheet metal, as well as installing structural components. Mechanics are assigned tasks based on their abilities, with opportunities for those skilled in fabrication and installation.
Responsibilities
- Perform heavy maintenance and build-up/refurbishment of S64 helicopters.
- Utilize blueprints to carry out structural repairs and modifications.
- Rivet, countersink, bend, and cut sheet metal as required.
- Install structural components effectively.
- Execute tasks based on fabrication or installation abilities.
Essential Skills- Proficient in structures and sheet metal repair.
- Experience with aircraft, specifically helicopters.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- 4+ years of MRO experience required for at least two mechanics.
- Must be able to drill, cut, bend, countersink, and rivet aircraft sheet metal.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Possession of an A&P license is preferred but not required.
- Comfortable performing a structures test involving riveting and bending.
- Must have own basic hand tools.

Work Environment
Work primarily takes place in aircraft hangar and shop areas located in Medford, OR, and Central Point, OR. You will have access to a very advanced electronic tool crib. The primary shift is Monday through Thursday from 6 AM to 4 PM, and Friday from 6 AM to 2:30 PM. After three months, you may be moved to a second shift from 3 PM to 2 AM, working four 10-hour shifts.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $52.00/hr.
