Job Title: Aircraft Structural Assembler
Job Type: Full time; Consultant (6 Months +)
Location: North Charleston, SC (Onsite)
Schedule: Variable Shifts (Must be flexible to work all shifts)
Pay Rate: $29.30 to $37 per hour
MUST HAVE previous Aircraft Structures experience.
In this role, youll perform complex production assembly operations on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems using manual or automated assembly tools.
Position Responsibilities:
Execute complex production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems.
Utilize comprehensive knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures, and component replacement.
Apply thorough knowledge of aircraft structural modification and repair, determining functionality of non-complex electrical systems.
Operate unique aircraft tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, cable tensiometers, sheet metal brakes and sheers, etc.
Apply professional technical expertise to execute complex structures work, including pull holes, match & back drilling, fastener removals, riveting, sleeve bolt drilling, and system, wire, and tube installations.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, process specifications, and retrofit requirements to perform structural modifications/repairs.
Maintain necessary certifications, licenses, and permits as required for assigned work.
Typical Education/Experience:
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
10+ years of on-aircraft heavy structural experience.
5+ years in an MRO/Repair Station/AOG/Travel MODS environment.
5+ years of experience removing and restoring aircraft assemblies.
1+ years of experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications, in English.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Demonstrated strong effective communication skills, work ethic, and a sense of urgency for completing assigned tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
10+ years of Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience.
2+ years of composites experience.
2+ years of Velocity and Radars experience.
Aviation school graduates preferred.

Pay Details: $29.30 to $37.00 per hour
