Job Description:

Perform fabrication, assembly, and modification of aircraft sheet metal components supporting aerospace manufacturing and aircraft modification operations. The role focuses on structural fabrication, blueprint interpretation, sheet metal assembly, and production support activities for commercial, military, and general aviation aircraft.

* $20.00 - $22.00 Education & Job Requirements
* High School Diploma or GED equivalent
* 1-2 years of structural sheet metal, fabrication, and basic mechanical experience related to the job duties
* Must be able to fabricate
* Experience using hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as drill presses, rivet and hardware presses
* Working knowledge of reading and understanding engineering and mechanical drawings
* Ability to read tape measures, drawings, and basic blueprints
* Hands-on experience with aircraft sheet metal fabrication processes
* Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with a high quality level
* Strong attention to detail and quality standards, and possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team
* A drive for process improvement and learning aircraft and systems
* Possess the ability to multitask, enthusiasm to learn, and receive instruction and guidance well
* Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Job Duties & Functions
* Assist with the fabrication and assembly of sheet metal aircraft components and assemblies
* Measure, cut, drill, bend, and form sheet metal materials using hand tools and fabrication equipment
* Read and interpret basic blueprints, work instructions, and technical drawings
* Perform deburring, sanding, trimming, and surface preparation of fabricated parts
* Assist with rivet installation, fastening, and structural assembly operations
* Operate drills, grinders, shears, brakes, and other fabrication equipment under supervision
* Maintain clean and organized work areas while following FOD and safety procedures
* Support aircraft modification and production projects as assigned
* Inspect completed work to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy
* Follow company safety standards and manufacturing procedures at all times Physical Requirements & Environment
* Ability to stand for extended periods of time
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
* Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and climbing
* Ability to work in manufacturing and hangar environments
* Exposure to noise, dust, and industrial equipment
