Full-time | Long Term Contract
We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Structures Technician to support ISR modifications on RAPCON-X platforms, including U.S. Army HADES aircraft. This role involves advanced structural assembly, installation, and airframe repair on specialized aircraft systems.
This position offers the opportunity to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance. Candidates selected for this role may be sponsored for a clearance, opening the door to long-term career opportunities within the Aerospace and Defense sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform structural modifications and repairs per engineering drawings and manuals
- Interpret and work from moderately complex technical schematics, blueprints, and publications
- Install fasteners such as rivets and hi-locks while maintaining edge distance and pitch tolerances
- Execute airframe refinishing and corrosion removal tasks
- Use and maintain personal toolsets in good working condition
- Support ISR modification projects on military and government aircraft
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED and 3+ years of relevant experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Advanced knowledge of aircraft structural assembly and minor fitting techniques
- Experience working from technical drawings to perform precision installations
- Must have your own tools in good working condition
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Aerospace & Defense background (DoD, NASA, or U.S. Military experience)
- Willingness to travel as needed
