JOB SUMMARY:

Inspects aircraft components for conformance to customer and engineering standards.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Determines methods, operations, sequences, and set-ups to perform inspections.
• Inspects products for conformance to customer and engineering standards.
• Participates in related production support functions as directed by team lead/manager.
• Develops personal understanding of inspection methods, operations, sequences.
• Performs simple to mid quality control checks of mechanical components.
• Learns to set-ups repairs, overhaul documentation.

EDUCATION:

• Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification.
• Technical education or FAA Airframe & Powerplant license preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

• 0-6 months aircraft maintenance experience required.
• Knowledge of aircraft maintenance preferred.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an airport security badge through the local airport authority, if applicable.
