Key Responsibilities:As a Receiving Inspector, you will:
Conduct Inspections: Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections on mechanical, electrical, and structural components to ensure they meet the required specifications for spacecraft systems.
Utilize Precision Tools: Work with various measuring devices like calipers, micrometers, comparators, pin gages, and coordinate measuring machines to check for accuracy and quality.
Make Critical Decisions: Take responsibility for accepting or rejecting components based on inspection results, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
Collaborate and Contribute: Work from engineering drawings, specifications, and instructions to inspect incoming components and subassemblies. Help identify and resolve any quality issues.
Ensure Quality Control: Assist in performing load tests and other functional inspections, ensuring all components are ready for the next phase of production.
Qualifications:Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED, with at least 2 years of experience in quality assurance or inspection roles.
Proficient in using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, comparators, gages, and other inspection equipment.
Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and the ability to read and interpret control plans, drawings, specifications, and related documentation.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong computer skills, with the ability to navigate quality control systems and reporting tools.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments.
Experience in Aerospace manufacturing, particularly with mechanical and electronic assemblies, is a plus.
Previous experience working in a collaborative, team-based environment to solve complex problems.

Pay Details: $24.70 to $28.47 per hour
